Annual Art-Oberfest Arts & Fine Crafts Festival is now three days! It is held in the midst of Helen’s Oktoberfest activities and during one of the most vibrant of seasons in the North Georgia Mountains! The Festival is held on the property of Helen Arts & Heritage Center at 25 Chattahoochee Strasse in downtown Helen. The family friendly event includes artists and fine craftsmen from across Northeast Georgia along with mountain music, face painting, baked goods and more. The event is free and the public is cordially invited.
Booths are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. For the 3-day festivals, booths along the front of the building will be assigned to vendors who register for all three days. Vendors who are able to participate Sat & Sun only will be at the side of the building. (see festival layout) All final booth assignments will be made at the discretion of HAHC staff.

Georgia Mountain Fall Festival
October 12-20, 2018
Look forward to the 2018 Fall Festival. With its mild temperatures and beautiful scenery there is no better place to be than the North Georgia Mountains in the fall. Each October, the 9-day event features exciting musical performances, Arts & Craft vendors, educational demonstrations, a flower show and the ever-popular Georgia’s Official State Fiddlers’ Convention.

Travel back in time to an old fashioned country fair surrounded by the colors of the season.
Travel back in time to an old fashioned country fair with vendors creating hand-made Appalachian products like wooden bowls, home spun yarn products, jams and jellies, pottery and more. Learn to make apple cider from a hand cranked press. Meet local Georgia Authors and have a copy of your favorite book signed. The Big House will be open for self-guided tours of the first floor. Enjoy lunch on the historic grounds as you enjoy the Fall.
